Elizabeth Kleinsorg is a Power Practice Leader with over 37 years of experience directing the technical and business operations of the Jensen Hughes Power Services Group while maintaining an active role in analyzing fire risks at nuclear power plants. Her diversified fire protection experience includes technical leadership of NFPA 805 Risk-Informed/Performance-Based Analyses, 10 CFR 50 Appendix R safe shutdown analyses, fire hazards analysis, and fire protection program design and implementation, managing these activities for numerous utilities including Entergy, Southern Company, Tennessee Valley Authority, and NextEra Energy. She is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic business plan for power services and the technical oversight of fire protection systems, features design and analysis, fire protection program development and assistance, emergency response program development and assistance. Deeply involved in her industry, Ms. Kleinsorg is currently the team leader for the development of the NEI Implementation Guide for the new NFPA 805 based NRC Fire Protection Regulation. Ms. Kleinsorg oversaw the development of NFPA 805 implementation project plans, design basis documents and monitoring programs, and was an active participant in the development of NFPA 805 "Performance-Based Risk Standard for Fire Protection for Light Water Reactor Electric Generating Plants," serving as the sub-committee lead for the Nuclear Safety portion of the standard.
