Arnie Fie

Arnie is a seasoned engineering leader and subject matter expert in lithium-ion battery systems, with over 20 years of experience driving innovation, product development, and safety across consumer, professional, and industrial products. He most recently served as Director of Battery Innovation Management at Husqvarna, where he led key initiatives in support of North America’s electrification efforts by serving as the primary advocate for regional needs within the company’s global transformation strategy. Furthermore, he has directly supported product liability cases and guided root-cause investigations for battery-operated equipment, providing technical insight for quality and defensibility.

Arnie's unique strength to mitigate risk and increase resilience flows from a deeply holistic understanding of the product lifecycle, from ideation through manufacturing and post-market performance. His practical insight into how electrified products are built from concept, tested, scaled, and sometimes fail makes him a valuable asset in root-cause investigations and expert litigation support. His global manufacturing experience includes extensive travel across Europe, the Americas and Asia to evaluate factories, build direct supplier relationships, and co-develop products and processes with offshore partners. Also, he has helped transform factories to meet the demanding health, safety, environmental, and insurance requirements necessary for warehousing and producing electrified goods giving him firsthand understanding of what’s required to operationalize battery innovation.
