Mario Antonetti, PE, is a Senior Technical Advisor with over 46 years of experience in the design of fire detection and fire protection systems for military, educational, healthcare, transit, industrial, and commercial facilities. His projects includes fire and sprinkler leakage loss investigation, code consulting, replacement of fire alarm systems in mixed occupancies, and reviews of gas suppression systems. He specializes in expert litigation support regarding fire and life safety for correctional facilities.
Mr. Antonetti has also been involved in the design of fire protection systems for architecturally sensitive historic structures, including the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, DE; St. Gaudens National Historic Park in Cornish, NH; and The Library of Congress, Ford’s Theater and the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
He has conducted HPR inspections from candidate to re-inspection of large industrial complexes, including the testing of fire pumps, and various systems: dry, deluge, pre-action, foam and fire alarm. In addition, for the last seven years, Mr. Antonetti has been involved with the review of the design and fee proposals for fire alarm systems for correctional facilities and testing of the completed systems.
