Shannon Ramey is a Senior Forensic Mechanical Engineer who has an extensive background working with residential and commercial mechanical systems, heavy machinery, building design and structural analyses. Mr. Ramey's experience includes the design of mechanical systems for air distribution, electro-mechanical drives, hydraulic power units and pneumatic systems, refrigeration equipment, plumbing, fuel gas piping, specialized exhaust and ventilating systems, fire protection equipment, industrial machinery and conveyors. He conducts energy code plan reviews and inspections, air system balancing and commissioning reports, and value engineering studies for commercial buildings. Mr. Ramey is well-versed with product failure analysis involving various types of machinery, appliances, heavy equipment, hydraulics, and vehicle components. He also has extensive experience with stress and strain analysis, design analysis, including HVAC design and controls, load and stress testing, design for seismic restraint of mechanical equipment, as well as gravity and lateral load design for residential and light commercial buildings. Mr. Ramey leverages his experience in construction defect cases.
