Wayne Moore, PE is a Vice President with 44 years' experience. Mr. Moore is a licensed professional fire protection engineer with Jensen Hughes, located in Warwick, Rhode Island. Mr. Moore performs forensic analysis and investigations. His analysis experience includes; fire alarm system design evaluation; fire alarm system installation evaluation; smoke detector operation, placement, and installation evaluation; municipal fire alarm system connection, installation and evaluation; central station, remote supervisory station and proprietary supervising station fire alarm systems analysis and evaluation; fire alarm system audibility and intelligibility evaluation; mass notification design and installation evaluation; system wiring evaluation; fire alarm system application code analysis. Mr. Moore has an extensive forensic investigative background, including the investigation of numerous fires and other life safety and property protection incidents. He conducts investigations of fire alarm and security system failures. He performs investigations of smoke detector failures; analyzed and evaluated sprinkler system integration and operation with fire alarm systems. In addition, Mr. Moore currently serves as Principal member and former Chairman of the NFPA 72-2016 Emergency Communications Systems (ECS) Technical Committee and is the Editor of the five editions of the National Fire Alarm Code Handbook®. In December of 2012, NFPA published his new book, “Designing Mass Notification Systems “ A Pathway to Effective Communications." He is the 2009 recipient of the NFPA Standards Medal.
