Having recently joined Jensen Hughes as the new Managing Director of Forensics for the UK and Ireland, and after working as a forensic scientist for over 20 years, I am thrilled to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. The wide range of forensic services that Jensen Hughes provides — as well as the variety of expertise and knowledge held by the investigators — was immediately apparent.
Our teams are multidisciplinary and located internationally, which means that we are ideally placed to work efficiently with specialists across the world, including fire services and scientific laboratories. Jensen Hughes is dedicated to sharing our expertise and working collaboratively to provide exceptional services to clients.With a background in forensics in both the public and private sectors, I have investigated over 2000 fire scenes, which means I have a strong understanding of this area of forensic science. This expertise was explicitly recognised in 2017 when I was awarded a Judge’s Commendation following the investigation of a fatal fire for the ‘thorough investigation’ and ‘the professional way it was presented to the Court’.
I am looking forward to sharing my skills and expanding upon my experience as I join our other experienced forensic investigators. I am proud that our teams are involved in many high-profile fire and engineering cases in Europe, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. My intention is to focus on the needs of our clients as I develop and expand the forensic services we offer.
In other exciting news, we are pleased to announce that Jensen Hughes has recently acquired BRANDGRUPPEN, a leading fire safety engineering consultancy based in Denmark. As one of the few Danish fire consultancy specialists, they have established a strong market position where clients need experienced, highly competent and solution-oriented fire safety advisors.
Their expertise in value-creating and providing firesafe solutions on all projects makes them an excellent addition to the Jensen Hughes Europe team. We are thrilled to welcome them to the Jensen Hughes family and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring.
