Timothy Adams Wins ASME Outstanding Service Medal

timothy adams asme awardasme outstanding service medalJENSEN HUGHES is proud to announce that Timothy Adams, Senior Consultant in our Power Services Group, was recently awarded the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards committee section III Outstanding Service Medal.

This award is in recognition of Tim’s 30 plus years of dedication to the development and enhancement of boiler pressure valves in nuclear power plants. Specifically cited are his contributions to the development of the new piping seismic rules, research and implementation of high density polyethylene for safety class 3 piping systems, and his leadership as Chair of Subgroup Design. In addition to being Chairman of the subgroup, Tim serves on more than 15 other committees for the ASME, providing unparalleled commitment to his profession.
