Kevin is a Principal Consultant with 40+ years of experience in the nuclear energy sector. He has actively participated in several industry working groups and task forces, helping to solve today’s problems and mold the regulations for the future of nuclear power. He is a leading subject matter expert on advanced reactors and small modular reactor program development, most recently developing innovative, first-of-a-kind emergency preparedness program development and physical security plans for advanced reactors. 

As a former licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) at a boiling water reactor, he led day-to-day operations, program implementation, and supervised refueling activities. He is a retired U.S. Navy Veteran who defined best practices for nuclear submarine maintenance periods and mentored junior sailors and senior command representatives to drive shipyard activity completion safely, on time, and on budget.
