About John
John has almost three decades of experience in the fire protection industry. He provides excellence in code and performance-based engineering solutions and focuses on life safety and fire protection system design, review, and commissioning. Additionally, he is an expert in hazard materials consulting, forensic fire analysis and reconstruction, and wildland intermix fires. John has held various managerial roles, including group manager, team leader, and thesis advisor. He has guided teams of engineers and resolved code conflicts for multiple projects exceeding 500MM USD. John’s IT knowledge spans over 25 years. It focuses on five languages to develop, centralize, or simplify information gathering and reporting for “due diligence” inspections, code analyses, Graphical Information Systems (GIS), close-coupled 3D data and video representation, and analyses for fire and fire system testing and computer modeling.
