Please join us in congratulating Natalie Goodyear and Cindy Wang, winners of the All Fired Up! Student Competition.
These two young women created outstanding content highlighting the importance of fire safety in our communities. Their successful individual submissions rose above their peers in the areas of scientific accuracy, creativity, organization of content and message clarity.
Jensen Hughes partnered with SWENext to create the All Fired Up! Fire Safety Challenge to introduce girls to the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) community. For this competition, we challenged high school students to create a video and middle school students to create an e-poster that highlights the importance of fire safety in our community. Winners were selected based on their creative content, which highlighted the importance of scientifically accurate fire prevention and safety knowledge.
