About Carson

Carson is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the fire protection engineering industry. He has an extensive background in the design of a wide variety of fire protection systems, ranging from water-based fire suppression to special detection technologies such as air sampling, projected beam, and video imaging.

His market sector experience includes the commercial, hospitality, residential, academic, science and technology, and power and utility industries. He works closely with the project stakeholders to ensure that the fire protection design adheres to all applicable codes and standards as well as supplemental requirements such as owner standards and insurance underwriter recommendations.

Currently, Mr. Cook serves as a technical committee member of NFPA 14, Standard for the Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems.
