About Chloe
Chloe Howard is a Senior Nuclear Consultant with experience in advanced nuclear technologies and reactor innovation. She specializes in supporting projects that address nuclear safety, regulatory compliance, technology feasibility, and stakeholder capacity building. As a lead investigator in advanced reactor risk research, Chloe explores methodologies for evaluating safety and reliability, including the application of analytical techniques to assess passive safety system performance and risk metrics for advanced reactors to support Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) applications. Additionally, Chloe has led research initiatives focused on global emergency planning zone strategies and has contributed to Small Modular Reactors (SMR) training modules as well as stakeholder development in Central Eastern Europe. Her work on SMR deployment includes researching emerging reactor technologies and conducting comprehensive technology assessments. Chloe’s background includes UK nuclear experience in advanced reactor development projects and decommissioning sites as well as US based PRA support, and European SMR projects.
