Nathan provides fire life safety code consulting, designs and inspects smoke control systems, fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, and conducts hazardous materials consulting services. Before joining the firm, Nathan earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, where he researched solid fuel combustion in the computational thermodynamics laboratory. His research contributed to the NASA solid fuel ignition and extinction project, multiple master’s thesis papers, a paper published in the fire safety journal, and presentations given at the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR) and the International Conference on Forest Fire Research (ICFFR).
