Viktor Yarchuk

Viktor Yarchuk is a Senior Fire Safey Engineer with Jensen Hughes. He is experienced in developing unique fire engineering solutions for a range of complex projects spanning from heritage buildings to power plants. He holds interest in research and applications of his skills to cutting edge problems including large scale infrastructure, battery energy storage and electrical vehicles.

Viktor has developed fire engineering assessments for a variety of infrastructure projects including Snowy Hydro 2.0 pumped hydro energy storage, Integration of electric buses on Brisbane busway infrastructure, Inland Rail and NorthConnex. With regard to electric vehicles Viktor’s focus is investigation of the impact of EVs on the new and existing building with the aim to determine how this new technology can be integrated in a safe and responsible manner. Viktor has shared his knowledge and experience on the topic of EVs as a presenter for Jensen Hughes during Fire Australia and Fire NZ conferences.
