David has over three decades of design and code experience that spans the spectrum from building and fire code consulting, fire/life safety analysis, compliance drawing reviews, variance/appeals, egress analysis, performance-based code compliance approach, and fire modeling, to design of fire alarm, automatic sprinkler, special suppression systems, fire alarm feasibility studies and evaluations, bid packages and reviews, witness acceptance testing, smoke control criteria, Smoke Control Special Inspector and Fire Commissioning Agent. He works with clients and Authorities-Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to negotiate resolutions for code, fire protection, life safety and performance-based design solutions. Project work includes high-rise, universities, office, mercantile, hotel, residential, hospitals, museums, industrial, laboratories, airports, government, casinos, correctional, atrium and mixed-use facilities.
