About David

David's journey began with a strong educational foundation in civil engineering, where he developed a deep understanding of infrastructure design and construction. His early career saw him working on various civil engineering projects, but his passion for inclusive design eventually steered his professional focus towards accessibility. In his role as an access consultant, he has collaborated closely with architects, city planners, and government agencies to integrate universal design principles into public spaces, transportation systems, and buildings across thousands of projects within Australia. His expertise lies in identifying barriers to accessibility and implementing innovative, practical solutions that ensure everyone, regardless of physical ability, can navigate and enjoy the built environment with dignity and independence.
