Green Building Certification

We support projects in achieving a range of green building certifications, including Green Star, NABERS, and WELL. From early stage strategy through to final submission, we guide project teams through the entire certification process, providing clear advice, technical expertise, and stakeholder coordination to meet sustainability goals and achieve the targeted certification outcome.

Prioritising Sustainability + Occupant Well-Being

At Jensen Hughes, our accredited consultants support projects in achieving green building certifications such as Green Star, NABERS, and WELL. Our services span early-phase planning through to final submission, ensuring technical rigour, effective communication, and alignment with sustainability targets throughout the process.

Green Star Ratings

Green star is a leading sustainability rating system in Australia that evaluates the environmental performance of buildings, fit outs, and communities across key categories such as energy, water, materials, indoor environment quality, and innovation. Our green star accredited professionals (GSAP) will guide project teams through the green star certification process by identifying achievable credits, providing technical advice, and coordinating documentation to demonstrate compliance. Our role is to integrate sustainability into the design and delivery process, helping projects meet their targeted Green Star rating while improving environmental outcomes, occupant wellbeing, and long-term value.

NABERS Ratings

NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) measures the operational performance of buildings in key areas such as energy, water, waste, and indoor environment quality. It provides a trusted, government-backed rating that reflects how efficiently a building is managed and operated. Our NABERS accredited assessors will help building owners and managers understand their current performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and prepare the documentation needed for formal certification. Our goal is to support ongoing building efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and add long-term value through informed, data-driven strategies.

WELL ratings

The WELL building standard is a global rating system that focuses on health, wellbeing, and human experience within the built environment. It evaluates how building design, operations, and policies support occupant wellness across categories such as air, water, light, nourishment, fitness, comfort, and mind. Our WELL accredited professionals (WELL APs) will guide projects through the certification process by interpreting the requirements, coordinating documentation, and providing strategic input to integrate wellness features into the design and delivery. Our role is to help create healthier, more engaging spaces that enhance occupant wellbeing and demonstrate a commitment to holistic sustainability.
