Vasse Village by Bunbury Farmers Market

The Vasse Village project delivered a vibrant new Farmers Market in Vasse, in Western Australia's South West region. This landmark development not only provides access to fresh, local produce but also fosters a strong sense of community and serves as a key stop for travellers en route to Margaret River. 

Jensen Hughes was engaged to deliver comprehensive fire safety engineering services for this project, which centred on the construction of the new single storey building with a total floor area of 3,552 square metres. The design incorporated two distinct fire compartments: a 3,452 square metre retail area and a 100 square metre alfresco area. Our team developed innovative fire engineering performance solutions to address a range of design challenges, maintaining clear communication and transparency throughout the process. Throughout the project phases, we responded promptly to client requests for information, helping to prevent construction delays, with the client specifically noting that our proactive approach contributed to the building’s early completion.
