Dave Wilmot, PE

Dave is a Vice President with over two decades of experience in building and fire code consulting services. His expertise is primarily focused in the areas of building and fire code analysis, performance-based designs, alternative methods to code compliance and negotiations with Authorities Having Jurisdiction. He has worked on various facility types and has extensive knowledge in the code complexities of adaptive reuse of existing structures and complex mixed-use developments. He looks beyond the prescriptive requirements of the code to identify most cost-effective and practical approaches to building and fire code compliance for a myriad of facility types. This has allowed him to develop strong working relationships with many building and fire code officials throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. Outside his technical expertise, he also leads the business development in the Mid-Atlantic region. Working closely with other colleagues to establish strong client relationships, client focused solutions and services, and monitoring industry and economic treads. Dave is a life active member of  the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Department in Baltimore County, Maryland.
