Kelly Opert

Kelly Opert, PE is a Lead Engineer with extensive experience in testing and evaluation and applied research with expertise in water-based fire suppression, compartment fires, risk management, and firefighting tactics. In recent years, she has worked on small to large scale lithium-ion battery fire research projects and provided testing and standard development support for innovative aviation cargo fire protection solutions. Kelly has experience managing large scale and multi-phase fire research and testing projects.
