Bryce Pludow, PhD

Amelia is an Associate in the firm's Research,  Development, Testing and Evaluation Division, as part of the wildfire risk mitigation team. Her PhD research focused on social vulnerability associated with wildfire risk and spatial analysis for wildfire risk mitigation. She has knowledge of spatial analysis and modeling methods, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), econometric methods, and the wildfire risk analysis/reduction literature. She has conducted wildfire research at the parcel scale up to the forest scale. Amelia is especially interested in using innovative datasets and methods to understand spatial variation in wildfire risk in the wildland-urban interface and the characteristics of individuals living in high-risk areas and using these findings to inform policy solutions.
