As part of Europe’s leading fire engineering consultancy, we offer a comprehensive range of fire safety engineering and research services. We meet the needs of our clients across building, industry and infrastructure sectors by producing reliable and scientifically based analyses and advising clients on fire safety measures. Led by Xavier Deckers, our highly skilled and established team of fire safety engineers provide extensive coverage across Europe, with a special focus on Belgium, The Netherlands and neighbouring countires from our offices in Ghent, Antwerp and Leuven.

Following the acquisition of FES Ghent (FESG) in June 2021, and the subsequent rebranding a year later, we now operate as Jensen Hughes in the Belgian market. During this time, our well-established client focus and local technical expertise has been enhanced by Jensen Hughes’ extensive capabilities globally and throughout Europe.

We give you expert advice, from survey-based concepts and specifications to implementation and delivery checks. We do all of this with close attention to practical feasibility and ease of maintenance.

We interpret the various legislation and international rules of good workmanship relating to industrial fire safety and are at your disposal from detailed design to implementation and delivery checks.

We provide support in risk identification, design, follow-up, checks, tests and delivery of all fire safety systems, from car parks and stations to complex tunnels for metro/underground, rail and road traffic.
