Bruce Campbell, FSFPE, is a Vice President with 45 years of experience. He is responsible for developing Department of Energy (DOE) technical services and providing support for industrial, commercial, and government clients. Mr. Campbell serves as a technical resource on select technical projects and is an expert on a number of legal cases that involve automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems and loss control. He began his career in the Highly Protected Risk industry and received a solid background in loss control and protection of special hazards in heavy industry. He then spent 20 years at the former Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site where he managed the fire protection programs for this former nuclear weapons production facility. He participates in highly visible fire investigations, including a sodium incident and a pyrophoric uranium oxide excursion. He manages a large multi-year loss control contract with a national railroad; prepares the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) for Nuclear Weapons Capable Maintenance and Storage Facilities for the USAF; manages fire protection programs, involving programmatic and line responsibilities for the fire department, fire protection engineering, and inspection testing and maintenance; and developed the first comprehensive set of criteria in the US for the demolition of a multi-billion dollar nuclear facility.
