Topi has almost five years of experience in fire safety and has worked on a wide range of projects with an increasing emphasis on functional fire safety design. He has been involved in the renovation of Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, Nokia Arena in Tampere and the Redi Shopping Center in Helsinki. Topi also has experience in fire safety design of new smaller-scale residential houses, apartment buildings and industrial sites. Originally, Topi was studying structural engineering and building physics, aiming towards a different career, when a professor made him interested in the fascinating field of fire safety.
Paloturvallisuusasiantuntijan työkokemusta Topille on kertynyt viisi vuotta. Nämä kokemusvuodet ovat kertyneet hyvin monipuolisesti erilaisissa projekteissa, kuitenkin painottuen enenevässä määrin toiminnalliseen suunnitteluun. Muutamia kohteita, joissa hän on ollut mukana, osana kokenutta suunnittelijaryhmää ovat muun muassa Helsinki-Vantaan lentoaseman laajennus ja muutostyöt, Tampereen Uroslive-areena sekä Helsingin Kalasataman Redi-kauppakeskus. Näiden lisäksi kokemusta on kertynyt niin vanhojen kiinteistöjen korjaushankkeista kuin myös täysin uusien asuintalojen suunnittelusta.
