His expertise includes overall fire life safety strategy and coordination, combining passive, active and/or specialized features to achieve the level of life safety intended by regulations, as well as voluntary measures desired by project stakeholders. His current responsibilities include project management and quality control review, fire protection and life safety consulting, building/fire code interpretation and development, smoke control system consulting, and performance-based design strategies.
