Ashley Pitts, AIA, CASp
Sr. Accessibility Consultant
What is your role at Jensen Hughes?
I am a “recovering architect” who now specializes in accessibility consulting for other architects, owners, contractors, and facility operators.
I play in a 9-ball pool league once a week. My team will be going to regionals this year—not for the first time!
What do you love about JH?I love that my colleagues are so smart and passionate, and I appreciate their willingness to discuss unique project issues, weigh in on code interpretations, and share personal project experiences. Having such great people resources at my fingertips helps me to provide the right guidance to our clients.
Tell us about a project you’ve been involved with?
One of my favorite projects was assisting with systems commissioning at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX and being invited to attend opening day—super cool (though slightly deafening…). I also enjoyed participating in a Girls’ STEAM event in the Denver office, dedicated to empowering girls and young women towards careers in STEAM, aerospace and beyond.
