PSM 101 - Instructor-Led Course
Instructor-led training covering OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) regulations. Learn practical compliance, common non-conformances, and KPIs to track facility process safety performance.
An overview of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (PSM) regulations, focusing on practical compliance from a facility level. The details of each of the PSM and RMP regulations will be covered with a focus towards common regulatory non-conformances and ways to address them. We'll end with a primer on management systems and KPIs you can use to track successful compliance of your process safety program.
This training includes 10 contact hours of instructor-led instruction by a qualified Jensen Hughes instructor. The program is offered either as a two-session or as a five-session series. See the schedule details below. Attendance requires a stable internet connection and access to a microphone for breakout sessions
Training Schedule Options
Participants can choose between two delivery formats for this instructor-led training:
Option 1: Two-Day Sessions
April 20 + 23, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST
Option 2: Five Weekly Sessions (2 Hours Each)
Fridays at 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST
April 24 • May 1 • May 8 • May 15 • May 22, 2026
Both options cover the same material and total 10 hours of instructor-led training.
Course Details
- Topics: 14 Elements of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP Requirements, Hazard Analysis, PSM Management Considerations
- Pre-requisites: None. No previous experience necessary.
- You’ll feel comfortable in this course: If you have some familiarity with OSHA and EPA
- Continuing education credits: 10 hours of contact credit (1.0 CEUs) in total
