Ashley Byard-Bellis, MBA, MSFE

Ashley is the Director of Jensen Hughes’ Façade and External Wall Consultancy team, with over 19 years’ experience delivering façade engineering, façade fire safety, and external wall advisory services internationally. Ashley has led complex façade and building envelope projects across the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. His experience spans the full project lifecycle including concept design, façade engineering, fire strategy integration, façade risk appraisal, technical due diligence, and the remediation of existing buildings. He has extensive experience advising on both new-build developments and the assessment, repurposing, and recladding of existing buildings, including high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, civic, and mixed-use projects.

He specialises in façade fire safety and regulatory compliance, including advisory work aligned with PAS 9980 external wall risk appraisal methodology, large-scale façade fire testing including BS 8414, BR 135 performance criteria, CWCT guidance, and UK Building Regulations including Parts B, L, F, and O. In addition to technical leadership, Ashley provides technical oversight, peer review, and strategic advisory services on complex façade and external wall risk projects.
