Katarina (Tina) is a people and business leader, as well as a building code consultant and fire protection engineer. She has performed Code analysis on a variety of projects, ranging from complex multi-use, residential, and amenity buildings. Tina also has a strong background in loss prevention applications in industrial settings. Her interest in industrial risk and loss prevention started with her time at Factory Mutual (now FM Global), a leading industrial insurer and research and testing organization, where she undertook special training to become one of FMs “specialized chemical risks” experts. She has also worked within the Chemical Industry as a process engineer for British Petroleum. Tina has worked in North America and Europe and her experience in industrial fire prevention and protection has continued to grow throughout her career where she has co-authored fire protection standards for a large petrochemicals company.
