Mark Ross is a Senior Forensic Investigator with an MSc in Fire Investigation, specialising in fire and explosions, shipping and marine fires, personal injury, electrical failures and fire related crime and fraud investigations.

Prior to joining Jensen Hughes, Mark worked for a marine consultancy, specialising in the investigation of fires within the marine environment.

Before joining the private sector, Mark was a fire officer in the London Fire Brigade for over 28 years, of which he spent the last 20 years as a specialist forensic fire and explosion investigator.

Mark has carried out in excess of 2000 fire investigations covering a vast range of incidents, including fires involving the marine and aviation industry. He has investigated many fatal fires, including murder scenes, working alongside many different agencies and forensic specialists, such as the MAIB and the AAIB. He has given expert testimony in Coroners Court, Magistrates Court, Crown Court and arbitrations on numerous occasions.
