About Nathan
Nathan joined the San Diego Jensen Hughes team in June 2023 and has since worked primarily in designing and inspecting smoke control systems. He is also involved in the design and inspection of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, hazardous materials consulting, and battery energy storage systems. Before joining the firm, Nathan earned his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, where he researched solid fuel combustion in the computational thermodynamics laboratory. His research contributed to the NASA solid fuel ignition and extinction project, multiple master’s thesis papers, a paper published in the fire safety journal, and presentations given at the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR) and the International Conference on Forest Fire Research (ICFFR).
