Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHC), opened in 2007, is ranked as one of the best Children’s Hospitals in the United States and is also the center of medical research in the Rocky Mountain region.

A new 10-story, 335,000 square foot East Tower required fire protection and life safety systems to be certified before the facility could complete construction. CHC was also undergoing remodels to the existing hospital building at Fitzsimmons Health Care campus.

We provided design review services to all life safety systems and gave acceptance on the installation of fire alarm and detection systems, fire suppression systems, smoke control systems, egress components, emergency lighting and Life Safety Implementation Plans.

Our commissioning services and dedicated attendance at project meetings allowed CHC to receive certification and complete construction on the patient tower as well as the remodel to the existing hospital building, further growing an already trusted client relationship.
