Benjamin has close to 10 years of experience in the fire safety field. Prior to joining the fire safety industry, he worked as a contractor in the construction industry and is therefore familiar with the construction process from a site perspective. He has a degree in fire engineering and has also gained work experience as a fire inspector at Päijät-Häme and Lappi Rescue Departments. His previous construction experience has also been combined with his current tasks and Ben still enjoys working in a construction site environment in various site code compliance inspections. Ben’s biggest projects include Länsimetro and the shopping center REDI in Kalasatama, Helsinki.
Benjaminilla on lähemmäs 10 vuoden kokemus paloturvallisuusalalta. Ennen paloturvallisuusalalle siirtymistä hän työskenteli rakennusalan yrittäjänä ja tuntee näin ollen rakennusprosessin myös työmaan näkökulmasta. Hänellä on työkokemusta myös palotarkastajan tehtävistä Päijät-Hämeen sekä Lapin pelastuslaitoksilta. Benjaminin aiempi rakennusalan kokemus on hyödyksi hänen nykyisissä tehtävissään ja hän viihtyy edelleen työmaaympäristössä erilaisten työmaan suunnitelmanmukaisuustarkastusten parissa. Benjaminin suurimpia suunnittelukohteita ovat olleet Länsimetro ja kauppakeskus REDI Helsingin Kalasatamassa.
