Tim is a Senior Engineer and Manager of the Independence, Ohio, office for Jensen Hughes. He has over 46 years of experience designing pressure-retaining components to Section III and Section VIII of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the ASME B31 and N.M. series Piping Codes.

Tim has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of design, seismic design, analysis, construction, and inspection of piping systems, pressure vessels and tanks, mechanical equipment, and support structures. His expertise also extends to the application of industry consensus codes and standards for the electric power generation, petrochemical and process industries, and DOE nuclear waste processing facilities.

As an industry expert in the seismic design of piping systems and mechanical components, Tim is active in numerous ASME consensus code and standards committees pertaining to the design, construction, and qualification of mechanical and pressure-retaining components. He was elected an ASME Fellow Engineer in 2019 and received several awards for his many years of service and contributions to the development of ASME Nuclear Codes and Standards, including the 2017 ASME BPVC SC-III Outstanding Service Award, the 2020 ASME QME Outstanding Service Award, and the 2021 ASME Bernard F Langer Nuclear Codes and Standards Award.
