Jensen Hughes recently set up an Adiabatic Reaction Calorimeter (PHI-TECH II) in the Baltimore Lab to further provide our clients with the highest degree of technical excellence.
This state-of-the-art apparatus will:
- Characterize material hazards for process safety analyses
- Conduct quick tests to determine if a chemical reaction will runway
- Conduct longer and more detailed tests to determine reaction data necessary for vent sizing in emergency relief system design
