On April 2017, a fire broke out at Texas Pellets, a company whose storage silos and shipping are located in Port Arthur. The fire caused a silo to eventually collapse.
Through the expertise and fire protection technology of Jensen Hughes, Texas Pellets has begun loading and unloading at the port to test procedures and expects to be fully operational in the next quarter.
