Michael J. Wojcik Named 2025 SFPE Fellow

Congratulations to Michael J. Wojcik, PE, on being named a 2025 Fellow of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) – one of the profession’s highest honors, recognizing outstanding and lasting contributions to fire protection engineering!
With over two decades of experience, Mike has led code consulting and life safety strategies for more than 75 complex, high-risk projects across a wide range of sectors, including airports, hospitals, cultural institutions, laboratories, high-rise buildings and industrial facilities. His systems-based approach reflects deep technical rigor and expertise in performance-based design and life safety implementation across all major delivery models.
As Vice President – NA West at Jensen Hughes, Mike oversees regional operations, uniting technical leadership, operational excellence and strategic client delivery across multiple service lines. He is widely respected for his leadership in building and fire code consulting, life safety systems and performance-based solutions.
Beyond his project work, Mike is a dedicated contributor to the profession. He serves as Principal on the NFPA 15 Technical Committee for Fixed Water Spray Systems, Treasurer of the SFPE Arizona Chapter and a member of the SFPE Committees on Professional Qualifications and Higher Education. He’s also a frequent speaker and author on advanced fire protection topics.
This well-deserved recognition is a reflection of Mike’s technical excellence, industry leadership and commitment to advancing the profession.
